I'm SO excited to be launching this!!
The Art & Skill Of Balayage is now available (for a limited time) in SINGLE CLASSES!
I've recieved a number of messages and emails of wonderful artists telling me that they so badly wanted to take my course but couldn't afford it, and I really wanted it to be accessible to as many artists as possible!
So now for the next few weeks I'm offering the single classes OR the full course.
You choose what feels right for you and your career!
You'll notice the prices of each class differ. This is because some weeks the topic took two videos for me to cover all the content I wanted to cover, and others took a shorter single video. I decided to make each week of the course a class, instead of each individual video so that if you purchase a class on a topic you're interested in, you get the whole class, not just half of it.
If you purchase a class and decide you LOVE learning from me (hehe, I sure hope you do!) and you want to take the full course, email me at email@example.com and I'll take the price you've already paid for the single class and apply it to your full course payment.
(It's cheaper to buy the full course than all the single classes.)
Class descriptions and payment options are towards the bottom of the page!

Now, while I was fortunate enough to have worked for a salon that taught balayage, I still struggled at the beginning! I’ve been there! I was told early on that I was a “natural” so NATURALLY I developed a huge ego and tried to skip steps and act cool and let me tell you… it SHOWED in my work! I had marbling, bleeding, patchiness and placement that just made NO sense at all!
Once I took a step back at looked at the problem at hand, I went back to the fundamentals and slowed down and what do you know? I got better!
One day it just clicked!
I realized I had gained the dexterity and confidence in my skill and I was no longer tense and stressing through each balayage.
I no longer got massive anxiety every time a balayage showed up on my books.
I knew I had the skills to paint and the confidence so my clients could trust me too.
I now use balayage not only as a service, but as an add-on to color services and even as a corrective color tool! It’s actually one of my favorite ways to correct now.
Besides being a popular service right now, balayage is also a MASSIVE source of income.
If you're not offering Balayage you're missing out on a HUGE market!
My income shot up immediately when I added balayage to my service list. Even when I was slow at it in the beginning, it was still a bigger ticket service that was worth the time!
As my skills developed my timing naturally shortened and my balayage clientele grew!
Within two years my income DOUBLED!
I do believe we will always use other forms of highlighting for various reasons and looks.
But balayage is the technique that will take your career to the next level.
This is the six week full course for the fall class of The Art & Skill Of Balayage.
Included in this is a private Facebook group for unlimited support from me as well as unlimited feedback on your progress! (The single classes do not receive FB support or feedback.)
Classic Pieces (Week 1)
The foundation and building blocks for all other painting techniques. In this class we cover ALL the little details.
This is by far my most used technique! In this class we go over two different ways to apply this technique for very different looks. This technique will give you such a range for creative freedom, you'll find yourself using these pieces in almost every head of balayage you do!
In this class we go over the technical application of Ombre... but because I'm SUPER over ombre, I also show you how to soften the look and create a "Sombre" (soft ombre). While ombre may not be my favorite LOOK overall, this is still SUCH a versatile technique. I use this for color correction more often than not! Definitely a good one to have in your arsenal!
Heavy Blondes & Retouches
My favorite!!!! I probably do these techniques on 90% of my clientele.
What can I say, I love my blondes! And I like to keep the hair on the head of my blondes, learning how to retouch your balayage (especially those super blondies) is SO IMPORTANT if you want to keep your blondes coming back!
Balayage with color aka Reverse Balayage
In this class we have two videos on techniques on how to use color within your painting. We go over how to transition a foil to a balayage using color, and in the other video we go over coloring the base first then adding balayage while the color is processing.
Short Hair Balayage
Learn how to find flattering placement for your pieces on shorter lengths, as well as how to work in small spaces! I highly recommend taking the Classic Balayage class before this class if you're not a confident painter. The reason this is the last class in my six week course is because with short hair you tend to need a variety of techniques to create custom seamless balayage in short hair. It's tricky work but once you get the hang of it, it can really be fun!
Are you a licensed hairdresser?
I'd like to invite you to join my Facebook Group for Balayage & Advanced Color Education, this group is a safe space to ask any color, balayage, or business building questions as well as a place to post your work. Please read the group description for our requests for posting. Hope to see you in there!
